Text reads: If you could go back in time and change just one thing what would it be?
The 1980s are not a decade that I remember with much fondness. Although I am sure there were some bright spots, famine, war and the AIDS epidemic overshadowed all. If I could go back in time and change just one thing, there would never have been an AIDS virus. While I have never lost a family member to it, I grieve for those who have and for the victims who continue to succumb or even who manage to somehow live with it. It is a terrifying, wasteful scourge that tears up the survivors as well as the victims and we've lost so many great artists, thinkers, and friends to it.

Thank you, Robyn and Kim. Some themes beg for a statement.

God Bless You,Pamela, for pausing in this moment of reflection on a decade of "glam neon colors", "rainbows" and "unicorns" to look deeper and to remind us not to be distracted by bright, shiny objects in the midst of very real, universal, and very personal, tragedy.Don't stop being the introspective, intelligent, creative women who looks outside herself and is brave enough not to look away in the face of great sadness and great pain, but rather to shine a light on a subject we all need to see. All my best and prayers to all who are,and have been, affected by the Aids epidemic.Kim Russ
I'm with you Glimmericks! Terrific sentiment and execution of a difficult topic for a difficult medium. Great stuff.
