Creepy-crawlie fabric destroyers. See a full description below. A good fabric for a cedar sachet to tuck in a drawer or hang in your closet.
Not a pretty sight! You don't want to see any of these guys around your house. They will eat your clothes; although one of them would prefer to eat your house. Some of them might prefer your books or your food; but they will all eat your clothes (cue spooky, danger lurking, music), if they get hungry enough.
Adult clothes moths, carpet beetles, dermestid beetles, silverfish/firebrats, crickets, roaches, and termites; along with the larval form of clothes moth and the two beetles.
These were all original sketches done by the designer and scanned into the computer. If you would like to see them in their original size and detail go here.

Thank you mcuetara. I was really pleased with the way this printed, I need to get a photo uploaded.

Hi Victoria, I think this is beautiful, despite the creepy subject matter! It has the feel of a vintage botanical print.
ps, I just figured out how to respond to comments- so thanks for your nice comments from before!
Thank you Catru and Patty.

wonderful, I'm amazed to have elegancy with bugs :D well done!!!!
Ahhh! The roaches are definitely the creepiest! Great drawings too!
Thank you all. Retrorudolphs, the bugs have been gnawing on the background.
while they are in fabrics are they far from home? :D great pattern!
Beautiful illustrations, I also love the crackled/age looking background. Good luck in the contest!
Your bugs look perfect on the pumpkin coloured background! Great illustrations!
Thank you all. I love having elegant bugs. I'd love to see a "punk" outfit, or maybe "punk" curtains.
Really elegant composition and a lovely background, I appreciated being able to see the original drawings too. I can see this as a fabric - maybe in a 'punk' application with some holes added into it...
Even your bugs are elegant Victoria!
I love this, and the other colors are great too! Great design :)
Oh how lovely to see all these sweet and complimentary comments here. You all have made my day; thank you.
Great colors!! And a very good idea!!
This is very well done, Victoria. The black and yellow combination is striking and your drawings are fantastic.
Wow the detail is amazing and cool. OH!!! You did silverfish...those actually make me scream like I'm a star in a B movie! Such a fabulous choice of creepy creatures! I love the bright colored background too. Creeptacular!
What a great idea to keep the bugs away. Wonderful illustration!
Haha love the clothes bag idea Victoria. It's a great design, looks fantastic and the colours you've chosen are perfect. And are crawlies really creepy if they're cute? I think not! ;-)
Thank you Rhonda. I don't know how popular this design will be since the nasty insects portrayed are certainly not. Perhaps it would make good clothes bags so the real insects would think there was too much competition and move to someone else's house.
This is a terrific design of some of the most annoying and nasty creepy crawlies that can wreak havoc in our wardrobes, cupboards and bookcases!
