Thank you so much Hanna - so encouraging! Now I am imagining that garment!

This is just so beautiful, I love the colours and the organic shapes, this would be amazing made into a garment!

Thanks so much again Rhonda and Tina! Your comments are always so helpful and motivating! When I did these designs I had not then discovered Gustav Klimt's landscape paintings - but now I have these remind me of them; he really was the master of developing and using a patterned-feeling ground... I wonder if the fact that his girlfriend was a textile designer had that influence on him?
These colors are so beautiful together! I really love these abstract dabs! Wonderful repeat too!
The rain-splattered earth look of this design is fantastic, Su! It would be a great print to use in patchwork projects. It would be particularly useful for landscape and organic picture quilts.
Candy thanks so much for the feedback, I love that it reminds you of those artists Delauney and Still - that is a wonderful compliment!

Love this Su, I've been doing a lot of research into art styles recently and this reminds me of the great works of divisionism by the likes of Robert Delauney and the wonderful colour field work of Clyfford Still.
Thanks Joan, Aldea and Susan for the comments and feedback, much appreciated. A smash or riot of colors... think I have a couple of new titles there (you know how much trouble I have with them!) - so thanks again!
an engaging riot of colors I can imagine seeing on an artist's palette as s/he looks out across a stark landscape.
Beautiful Su! I love this. The colours are gorgeous.
Great looking "smash" of colors. The breaks of white really pulls it all together so well.
Has real runway feel to it.
Thanks for your beautiful description Sue Ellen, and so glad it reminds you of the way water works in the desert - I very much had a desert landscape in mind.

I like this one ... it reminds me of the desert with the intense earth and sky colors. I like the way the dabs run into each other, and the way the blue sparkles against the clay, just as the water sparkles in the desert.
