I totally agree with that. Also, it's a shame how much the business has limited our choices while there is such a diversity in foods available if you plant them yourself.

Yes, keep the heirlooms going. My daughter is the gardener in my family and I found a few good sources for non GMO heirlooms. Stop Agribusness from destroying our foods and keep the nutrition in your vegetables by planting heirloom seeds. The cucumbers she did last year were the best I have ever had.
Thank you Deborah, it's real nice of you to take the time to come back here and tell me that.
Mieke, my daughter saw the curtain I made using your "Heirloom Tomatoes" design on a fat quarter of Spoonflower linen-cotton canvas. She really liked your design. It's a wonderful design.
Thank you so much for posting these pictures Deborah. I love the color combination you made with your 'Garlic Star', my 'Heirloom Tomatoes' and the 'Bumblebee Ribbon'. Great Work!

Close up photo of the border for my Tomatoes and Garlic kitchen curtain. The border is a honey bee ribbon designed by Laura Foster Nicholson, also a Spoonflower designer. In this close-up photo, the detail of the "Heirloom Tomatoes" design printed on Spoonflower linen-cotton canvas is captured better. Mieke's repeat in this design is impressive.

Heirloom Tomatoes :
This is a photo of my Tomatoes and Garlic kitchen curtain. The center panel is made from one fat quarter of Mieke's "Heirloom Tomatoes" printed on Spoonflower linen-cotton canvas. The side panels are one fat quarter of my "Garlic Star" design printed on Spoonflower linen-cotton canvas. Both fat quarters are being used vertically. I split the "Garlic Star" fat quarter in two and used it as side panels for the focus of the main curtain panel "Heirloom Tomatoes." It's a simple cafe curtain, clip on curtain rings were used. I took several pictures of this curtain trying to capture the way the tomatoes almost "pop" off the fabric. This photo is the closest I can get yet it still does not do it justice.
Thank you Amy :)

Thank you Rhonda, much appreciated :-)
This bountiful harvest of gleaming tomatoes makes a splendid design!
Thank you Deborah, I'm waiting for the test swatch, hoping the colors will print nice...
Love this design. The colors and texture are wonderful. Plus there is that subtle diagonal stripe that the darker tomatoes make.
