42in x 36in practice or cheater quilt or tablecloth. All of the fabric designs are my own, most already available on Spoonflower, the rest soon to be available, so you can use them for backing or binding or adding to the size of the quilt, if you choose to use this design as a medallion in a larger quilt. (Since the sidebar only shows the first 8 fabrics in the collection, please click on the collection name [top left] to see all of the fabrics in the collection.) The borders are done in what I know as Seminole patchwork, although it may have other names as well.

Thank you, Lana and Marian ... and an apologetic, belated thank you to Penny and Lisa, too! I really appreciate your comments. (I am hoping to quilt this myself sometime, and I've just ordered it in "ultra" to see if the colors on the fabric will be closer to those on the screen.)

Gorgeous! This would be fast to machine quilt, and look really stunning when done. I love the colors.
I absolutely love this design, it is sooo cheerful! You put a lot of work in this one!

Such a beautiful quilt! Lovely palette, and the various designs are perfectly harmonious, but different enough to create lots of interest. I just looked up "Seminole Patchwork" and was blown away by the many designs - lots of inspiring ideas!

Thank you, MaJo! I really like this one, and, would like to make a quilt for myself with it.

Thank you, Roz! I fell in love with the amazing geometry of Seminole patchwork the first time I saw it, and it was fun creating the patterns for these borders. I have these colors all over my house [and my closet ;-) ] ... it probably comes from many years of living in hot places!
Beautiful, and in my favorite colors, too! When I was about four years old I went to a Seminole village in Florida with my Grandparents and they bought me a lovely multicolored Seminole patchwork skirt. It had lots of colors in it, but the predominant color was turquoise blue. It had a detatchable bib in the front. Just darling. Love the quilt. : )
Thanks so much, Cindi! I love it, too, but I now have 7 of them on hand, and the colors still aren't right. Luckily, my local quilting friends do a lot of charity work, so they will have good homes.
Love the colors...and the design...beautiful...love it!
Thank you so much, Jo!
Beautifully done, looks so fresh and clean and bright, love how it's printed up too!
Thank you for your kind words, Nikky, Isabella, Su, and Julie!
Beautiful design, really lovely!
Great to see the fabric printed! I think the blues and greens came out well, and it is great to see the whole collection of patterns here too. I really really like the borders too!
Pretty patterns, serene colours and a complex pieced border all come together to create a beautiful quilt. Lovely work!
Thanks for the kind words, Ottomanbrim.
Great design and beautiful colors!
Thank you, Kathy and Tara. I appreciate your kind words.
Sue Ellen! This is so beautiful! Such dreamy colors in a lovely design. Two thumbs way up! -Tara

Thank you, Rhonda! .....There may be no actual seams, because it is in virtual fabric, but it was pieced, every little bit of it, and there are virtual seams. Although it is not easy to piece, even virtually, it sure beats hand-piecing, or even machine piecing, for time and effort ... no ripping out, no ironing, and no keeping the rest of the work off the floor and out from under the presser foot. Of course, that one is designing the prints as well as the blocks adds a bit to the time and effort quota on the virtual side. But no blood from pricked fingers!

The fresh, cool colours look fabulous in this spectacular design, Sue Ellen! The lovely, pieced chevron, layout and surrounding borders give your design the appearance of an actual patchwork quilt!
(sorry, not good at doing this yet) the phot was taken in full sun at noon
This is just the corner. The full view has disappeared into the ether, and the sun has turned to rain, so I have to wait to take another.

Thank you so much, Su! My shoulders are stiff after placing so many tiny bits, but I am pleased with how it turned out :-)
An amazing array of patterns and colors (those blues and greens are just luscious in the full combination) and wonderful borders! You have done well!
