This is my clockworks fabric in distress mode for all you lovers of steampunk, like me. I think it is the most fun art genre that has emerged in quite awhile. I have always took old stuff apart and checked out the pieces inside. This came in handy when I started doing assemblage pieces and having fun with the deconstruction and the reconstruction aspect of tearing stuff up. Everything from couches in the ally waiting for the trash man to old broken sewing machines and what ever thing looked like it was full of treasure. Yes, I was a dumpster diver as well, back in the day. Oh the treasures I have pulled out of the dumpster. lol Anyway I believe these habits is why I relate to the movement so much. Hope you like it.
