Ad a seam allowance of half an inch to the big pattern pieces when cutting them. Iron interfacing onto the left piece but not onto the seam allowance. Stich the pieces wrong sides together an leave a gap at one side. Clip corners and shorten seam allowances. Turn out an press. Topstich neatly along the bottom edge and then fold like an envelope. If you like you can make a strap out of the small pattern piece and ad a loop for a D-ring to your purse. Topstich near to the edge around the open envelope, but don´t topstich the bottom. Push the raw edges of the lining into the gap while you topstich. Ad a sew on clasp or velcro tape by hand. This Pattern is made for Kona Cotton and Basic Combed Cotton. Linen-Cotton Canvas will work as well, but it´s a bit wider and you will have more waste.
