Close up photo of one yard of Spoonflower faille printed with "Blue River Stalactites." This fabric surface and the printing ink marry beautifully.

Thanks so much for taking a look, Anne. And thank you for the visual comparison to the most beautiful rain.

This makes me think of rain---the most beautiful rain.
I always enjoyed marbeling paper. The actual process of marbeling is very relaxing. It's fun to comb the different colors sitting on oil across the water. I haven't marbeled paper in years -- I'm drawing on my stash now for fabric designs. I bet your students enjoyed your classes. Thanks so much for taking a look, Janiece.

Very nice marblezing pattern. I used to teach a children's craft class and a mental handicapped adult craft class every summer for 6 years. Marbleizing paper was one of the projects that both classes loved.
Thank you so much for taking a look at this design, Lisa. It's one of my favorites and I'm so happy you stopped by and made a comment. Thank you.
So beautiful! This would be a lovely design to use as wrapping paper, too. Has a watery, shimmery look to it.
Oh, I'm glad you took a look at this design, Katherine. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it.

Reverse side of the cheater quilt, "Only the Cat Saw." This is a photograph of one yard of Spoonflower Kona cotton printed with "Blue River Stalactites." The cheater quilt was quilted by Gail Bush and her crew at Quilts by Gail, Chickasha, Oklahoma. More about this may be read at http://summersgaze.blogspot.com/2012/10/only-cat-saw-quilted.html
I think both look lovely!
Comparison photograph of "Blue River Stalactites" printed on Spoonflower Kona cotton and Spoonflower wallpaper.
Thank you, Maria. Spoonflower did a great job with the printing. Thanks for taking a look.
Thank you, Linda, for taking a look. The design printed out well on both cloth and wallpaper.
Beautiful design! :)
This is just beautiful. Love the blues.
Thank you, Penny, for taking a look at this design. I appreciate it.
Very pretty Deborah, I love the color palette
This is a picture of one yard of Spoonflower Kona cotton printed with "Blue River Stalactites." Also in the picture is "Only the Cat Saw," my entry in the recent cheater quilt contest. The colors of some of the zigzags flying outside the cat's window were create from "Blue River Stalactites." Both yards of fabric will be used to make a crib quilt for my youngest granddaughter.
Thanks for taking a look at the design, Amy. Spoonflower did a great job of reproducing the colors.
Wow, this is just gorgeous!!!! The colors are just yummy!
Photograph of an 8x8 swatch of Spoonflower Kona cotton printed with "Blue River Stalactites." Printed well.
You are a poet, Rhonda. Thank you so much for your comments.
There is a marvelous opalescent quality to this display of shimmering loveliness!
Thanks, Su. It would make a great scarf. I put a yard of it in my Spoonflower shopping cart although I chose Kona cotton. I'm going to use a yard of this fabric design as the reverse side for the cheater quilt design "Only the Cat Saw." If you look at that design, you'll see echoes of Blue River in it. I appreciate your looking at the design. In my mind, it's already stitched up and resting in my youngest granddaughter's crib. Ha! I have a lot of finished projects in my mind.
Some gorgeous colors and color juxtapositions in this one: great scarf material!
