Thank you for the very kind words, Tara. I have to say, the instant I saw announcement of the Aviation theme, the stewardess cap popped into my mind and I never thought of using another motif. I just had to figure out what to do with it.
Sue Ellen this is great! Truly captures a very memorable piece of the mid-century stewardess at that time. I love that you used the cap for your contest piece. Great colors! I also love the three dimensional effect that you've given your piece too. Gives you the sense like it's floating or flying in the sky. Really neat how in the middle of the four caps you see an airplane. That's cool!
