Description:

Colorful floral fabric inspired by vintage Russian wallpapers and fabrics seen on my trip to Moscow. Looks great in mirror repeat.

bandanna says: Why lpds1220, you have some very pretty mirror designs here yourself. Can identify also with ill, elderly father issues (though mine is long gone now). You hang in there. This one makes me want to dash off and make cut paper star/doily things (or Hawaiian quilting even). Lovely.

leslipepper says: Wow! You gals are all over this issue! I'm so glad I haven't had time to make anything with these fabrics and had them all cut up already! This fabric was one of the ones I planned to photograph and post this weekend on Flicker to show that the line does not show on the actual printed fabric. I purposely got a yard in this and the Floral Lattice Khaki so I could make sure the "Mystery Line" didn't print. I'm sorry you all have to wait until this weekend for me to try to solve this. I am under the gun with parents Dr. appts., paying their first of the month bills and finding new caregivers this week. If I get things caught up before this weekend I will post my "findings" just as soon as I can. Thanks for the understanding all. Lesli

pinksodapop says: Oh that line is back. I think this is what you're talking about on your other designs --- something to do with the transparency! --- I hope Spoonflower can fix it for you soon!

pinksodapop says: Oh it's simply divine! --- I knew it would be! *Smiles* Thanks so much for fixing it. *Huggles for the sick father* ---- Get well. ^_~

leslipepper says: Thank you for the awesome complement and sorry for the confusion pinksodapop. I hadn't realized the layout wasn't edited to show in mirror repeat. (Been dealing with ill, elderly father for a while so haven't been able to be attentive to designs and designing.) Also, the hair line that appears in the image doesn't print, I don't know why it's there. I've had that happen on a couple other fabrics and the lines have never shown when they were printed. Yes, I am the artist. I have always wanted to do surface design and am thrilled with Spoonflower! I too started in graphic design, then moved to murals and faux finishing on anything immobile, then interior/exterior design. After learning computer graphic programs and with the support of my daughter (pepstar on this site http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/48552) I started surface designing. Thanks so much for pointing out the layout issue, I appreciate it and once again for the lovely complement.

pinksodapop says: This is very pretty... I would like the background to be fully tiling however, the harsh line makes it distracted or something. (But my god you have magnificent talent if you're the artist behind these designs!) ^_~
