Thank you Joshua and eclectic_house! And Joshua, what an awesome use for this fabric! I'm an aviation merit badge counselor for the Boy Scouts, and I use the drawings from this fabric to teach instruments to the scouts! I hope your daughter learns her instruments well!

OH, that's amazingly gorgeous and very versatile.
Incredible fabric! Teaching my 3 year old daughter the instruments currently and going to make pillows for her :) thanks!
Thanks you Nancy!

Thanks so much Sharon!!!
Thank you Victoria and Angela!
I'm loving this! Great idea for the contest, really original.
Really great design!
Thanks so much Kelly! Maybe a portfolio to keep her log book and accessories in? (I'm going to have to do some hunting online to see what kind of bags/cases/portfolios pilots like to carry...)
excellent and such useable fabric. I have a friend who flies planes and if I can think of what to make her from this, I should make her something... if only she was into tote bags... hmm. maybe some sort of zippered folio case.... hmm!
Thanks so much Alex!
What a great design! I really like the yardage view.
Thank you Sue!
I like this, and I like that you decided to go with a large enough repeat to include several variations for each instrument. It really gives the feeling of the feeling of needing to keep a sharp eye on the panel.
Thank you Kei!
this is awesome!
Thanks sef! This one was on my todo list for a while - I figured this would be a good opportunity to do it! I'm an aviation merit badge counselor for the boy scouts, so I will be using all these the next time we cover flight instruments! (I love multi-purpose designs!)
I already had a design like this on my todo list (after doing a flight dial for someone on h2g2 way way back). It's a good job I'm going with another idea at the moment. I expect yours will do well, though, because there are some quite fanatical fliers out there.
Thank you Julie and Roz! My husband (who is also an aerospace engineer) has already insisted I make something for him out of this! I better work on my sewing skills...
totally awesome - brilliant concept, fabulously done!
