Wet Violets cane bag with bottom converted to pocket at top, taken at twilight. Tips: For your own cane bag, measure the width between the handles and the height at which your feet pass under the bag. I tested to see if the canes hit my head; they completely miss.

Cane Bag, showing the front of the bag. Confession: My toe just catches the bottom of the bag as I push. I'm going to cut the bottom off and use it to make a handy pocket at the top.
Cane Bag, showing how I attached the straps at the back. I had two fat quarters which was exactly enough for this bag. I lined it with a tan fabric with all seams sandwiched between the layers so that the cane tips would catch less.
Thank you rhonda, your compliment that it is worthy of the inspiration is too much and puts a twinkle in my eyes.
The sparkle of light on the surface of this gorgeous design makes it look as though it has it's own, built-in bling! It will make up into a sensational cocktail dress, worthy of the famous violet-eyed inspiration!
