Thank you very much for the great comment, Janiece! I also have a set of heart-shaped cake tins. They were a popular shape for birthday cakes and I made quite a few of them when my daughters were young. The paper collage that I made for this design was a lot of fun but even more fiddly than icing fancy birthday cakes!

When i was a teen I had heart shaped cake pans and I'd bake cakes for friends and families birthdays. Strawberry cake, strawberry icing and strawberries cut into heart shapes on top. Here is a tip. If you want your strawberries to be a perfect heart when cut in half, use a straw and poke it through the bottom to take off the top greens of the strawberry. It's a quick and easy way to do strawberry hearts. Now I'm hungry. lol

Thank you for the lovely comment, Denise! It is much appreciated. Sorry I have taken so long to respond to your message!:-)
Love this print! Whimsical and fun.:)
Thank you for the sweet comment, Charlotte! :-)
This is really beautiful
Thank you very much for the great comments, Janiece and Amy! Lol, I know what you mean about the send button, Janiece.... my finger often seems to bump the button before I have even written the message! "Alice in Wonderland" has been a favourite story of mine since I was a very little girl and I often find myself making little references to the story or quotes from the book. I couldn't resist the idea of making this fabric up into a double-sided tablecloth, with the red hearts on the reverse side.
Oh so pretty! I love the colors in this as well......love!!!
One day I may even learn to proof read before hitting the send button. I doubt it though.
I'm betting that our great, great, great grandkids will find the fabric relevant in the far of future. A story such as Lewis Carroll's wonderland books will always be the bomb. I have to say Tim Burtons is my favorite one though. I know many disagree but visually it rocked my world. Johnny Depp of course clinched it for me. I don't do celebrity freakouts and ubber crushes, but Johnny is one exception to that rule. lol
Thank you for the nice comment, Penny! That is a good idea about making p.j.'s, from this fabric!

The cakes are so pretty and the heart background is fabulous. Of course the Queen of Hearts would serve cakes made of paper! How clever, Rhonda!
Very sweet design! Love it!
Oooh, I want to sit and have an afternoon tea!
I love the heart background! I hope you make that a coordinate for this sweet print. It would make a great tablecloth, and cute serviettes, too, maybe with one of the tasty cupcakes on the corners.

What a terrific design Rhonda! I love the little red hearts.
just fantastic Rhonda!
Thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful comments, Tara and John, Sannie and Maria! As this was a bit like applique without the sewing, I used the tiny pair of scissors that I keep for trimming little fabric pieces to cut out all those small heart shapes. Next week I will be wondering why my scissors have lost their sharp edge! Oh well, it did seem like a good idea when I was in the creative paperwork zone!
wahoo! you manage terrificly well scisors! great pattern.
Ahh such a sweet design Rhonda.
Rhonda this is DELIGHTFUL!!! Fun and lovely! How perfect this would be on a table for a tea party!!!-Tara

Those hearts are the perfect shape and the red sits brilliantly with the softer colours. These would be great wedding cakes!
