Reproduction of a printed cotton design, c. 1830-1834.
The repeat is 2.95in x 4.68 inches on fabric and 2.4 x 3.818 inches on wallpaper; this kind of fabric would have been used to make dresses, aprons and capes.
Note that the background for this fabric is not 'stark white'. It's printed using the RGB-Color f2eede; a very pale beige.
