Thank you Sue Ellen, Joan and Deborah for your lovely and encouraging comments - this was the result of another one of those happy accidents - and ended up teaching me a lot about geometry and inter-leaving, something I'd like to do more of when time permits...

This design is excellent, Su. I agree -- the design takes control of one's eyes and gives them a fantastic trip. Well done.
This is really a fun design to view. I love the twisted braid and the way the colors move the eye through the design.
The blue-green really show up nicely against the orangey-yellow in the wallpaper, and I'm thinking this design would be fabulous as upholstery on the patio or porch furniture where the blue would get pulled out even more by the sky.
Ooh, yum! How very summery! And I like the pleasing angles of the braids, it lends a softness to all the "tiles," and is reminiscent of the edge of the water splashing on the sand.
