I designed this kite quilt panel, incorporating several of my original fabric patterns, for my grand-daughter. She is fascinated with water and flying and simply loves kites. As she watched me work on it she chanted excitedly,"Pretty kites," and "For me?" She also spent a great deal of time attempting to sing Let’s go fly a Kite. Mary Poppins is one of her favourite movies.
