A wonderful collection of headlines and silly articles! This would be so much fun in clothing - and I can also see it used very effectively in quilting and patchwork...

What a crazy ,wonderful idea
Thanks for finding an oldie but goodie, Pamela. I'm pretty sure most of these headlines came from small community papers. I used to live in the woods of Piedmont, Missouri and get the local paper. There were always funny, poorly written and editted articals and headlines. I read it more for the entertainment value. It's hard to fill a paper in a community where the headlines read Mrs Blevins was visited the past weekend by her daughter Jean and son in law Robert from Ohio. They enjoyed a dinner at biggie burgers. Thanks for checking out the Breaking News.
I may have to buy an FQ just so I can read them all!
Thanks for stopping in, Phoebe to check me out today. It's alway nice to get feedback. I have 60 new fabrics going on the market this month. I went a little Spoonflower crazy, lol A friend sent those to me in my email and I knew they needed to be shared. I believe there are 23 different headlines. I thought it would be interesting to wear something made of this fabric and see others reaction if they bothered to try to read it.
