This is my entry for the palette restricted geometric contest. There is so much you can do with a geometric pattern, and I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with it. I've been admiring cheater quilt patterns for a while now and I though this might be the perfect time to experiment and create one. While this was a palette restricted contest, (#734b63) and (#a7bb7c) plus optional white, the results are still endless since geometric patterns are so versatile. This cheater quilt really allowed me to experiment with patterns, which made it a lot of fun. =)

Thanks so much Rhonda! =)

You have made excellent use of the limited palette in this wonderful geometric design, Leslie! Not only can this print be used as a cheater panel, it would be a lot of fun for an adventurous quilter to explore the possibilities of fussy-cut piecing or random rotary cut-stitch-cut again patchwork with it!
Thanks, Emma! =) I have thought of that, that should be coming next! :P I'm excited that there's so much I can do with this design and future coordinates! :D
There are fantastic patterns on your design - have you thought about separating them out and making a collection to use as coordinates? : )
Thank you Su, I've never made anything like this before and I'm quite pleased with how it came out! =) I'm glad you like it!
Presents very nicely as a playful exploration of geometric shapes, the restricted palette (playing with the weight & balance of the 3 colors) and cheater quilts too - attractive and interesting!
