My interpretation of the design brief, for the weekly fabric design contests, to 'create a fabric design that consists only of geometric shapes (e.g., stripes, polka dots, etc)'. Using only 2 shapes, the ellipse and circles, makes a pretty daisy floral pattern. This is my entry in the weekly design brief challenge for 'Geometric Shapes'. Thanks for dropping by to check it out. If you like, please consider casting a vote. Thanks T

Hi Peggy thank you for your lovely comment...T
Posted about 4 years ago.
Thanks Lori, Cally and Sheila for you kind comments...T
I love the way you've used the colour palette and the design is beautiful!
This has a nice feel to it... not mathematical at all. Very lovely!
Darla thank you so much. I suppose it could be lilies and lily pads, I have them in my pond also and didn't think about that. It looks like you are looking down on them! I'm pretty new to all this contest stuff and have only just worked out how to see all the others!! I noticed yours and it really appeals to me. I now need to go looking to see what else is in the mix. Thanks again appreciate your kind comments....T
Oh, I love this one. When I went looking for other entries in the contest I loved the calmness of this one. It reminds me of the waterlilies in my water garden.
Thank you so much Isabella. I'm really happy with the repeat, it took me a little bit of time to get it right...T
This has a light and lovely feel and the repeat is very pleasing. Beautiful work!
Thanks Jeannie. This is only my forth attempt at a weekly contest. Not all of them appeal to me, as I've also seen with some of the comments on the Flikr discussion from other people. Not every design brief appeals.
I like the idea of my interpretation of this brief though. Thanks again...T
I find it both lovely AND geometric. :) Very nice entry!
Thank you Rhonda. It surprised me how well it came together. Appreciate your comments, very encouraging...T
This is a lovely, light and airy design! I am impressed by how well you have achieved this feat with such an unlikely colour palette and design brief!
Thank you Kathleen. Appreciate your comments.
This is lovely.
