For the most part I am Irish and Native American. There was some French thrown into the mix and probably some other stuff as well but I'm sticking to what I was told all my life that I was Irish and Native American. I am a person who is a political fighter for the less fortunate and try to walk the good red road. I have a jolly nature that I think comes more from my Irish side. When I used to drink my Irish came out more. lol I have never thrown a piece of garbage on the ground for as long as I can remember, I pick up others garbage most times I see it. I love nature and lived in the woods for awhile, mostly off what we grew and harvested. The most influential person in my life was my grandmother who was raised on a cotton farm in the boot heel of Missouri, in the little town of New Madrid. She taught me to conserve and appreciate the Earth Mother long before it was vogue. I have passed what I could on to my daughter and grand daughter. My little Grace gets so mad when she sees trash left behind and she gathers it and puts it where it belongs. She really gets upset, lol, she rants and raves. Grandma look at this trash, right here by the trash can. What is wrong with people she says. My family believes in recycle, reuse, repurpose. We compost and send very little to the landfill. I remember watching my grandmother repair a garden hoe that took a whole lot of time compared to the $5 she would have had to spend back then on a new one and asked her why. She wasn't poor had plenty of money in the bank and a whole lot of land. She just said that wasn't the way she was raised. She taught me so much and I'd like to dedicate my family crest to her. To My grandma Ethel who taught me all that is good in me. Till we meet again, grandma. You have always been my heart and soul.

I love the message too. I sell this as a teeshirt without the celtic knot in the background. I have one that I wear often. Here is the link I you'd like to see it http://www.zazzle.com/real_eyes_realize_real_lies_tee_shirt-235162438060773738
