The curling and curving themes within this design are Victorian. You get scallops. You get curved-edge diamonds containing straight sided diamonds. You get large interlocking ovals and some kind of art element everywhere.
But the bright orange color is pure 21st century sunshine. This is not your great grandmother's Victoriana.
