A sophisticated pink and blue small scale abstract that could work as a nursery fabric (particularly for twins where one is a boy and the other a girl) or a floral Gothic (in the 1880's sense, not the dance music one) abstract.
Though there are lots of twisted string vines creating circles within this design, plenty of petals, and heart shaped arrows, and undulating curves, what I see here are the ovals in the center of the circles that the heart-shaped arrows are pointing to. With their tin blue lines, white tops and middles, I see mouths with teeth.
They ARE the little Gothic smiles of the title.
