What a wonderful quote. I'll try to find it.. It seems that Anne Sullivan and I share certain metaphors. Thank you for sharing that Victoria. Thank you too Carol Lynn for your kind words and appreciation.
It reminds me of something I read, years ago, in a biography of Helen Keller. Helen asked Annie Sullivan to describe the winter bare trees to her and Annie described them as looking like "black lace".
Yes! Oh, I hope you use it. It was intended to be just that...lying on your back looking up at the sky through the branches. If you do, please, please, please send me an image.

I am designing a Halloween quilt for the Toledo Museum of art and this fabric is just what I have been looking for! This actually gives the illusion of looking straight up into the night shy!
Thanks, I bough yardage of it myself. It is wonderful. I've been playing with it to see how best to use it. Very fun.
This is an amazing design. I looked at in in yardage and it would make beautiful draperies...love it.
Thank you. It captures the weather just now too.
really love this one! captivating!! great colour too!!
Thank you, the image comes from a 30 x 22 watercolor painting I did called "Winterlace.' You can see it on my etsy page here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/niceharpy
That's lovely - did you generate the trees using a fractal program or something similar?
