More about this preview. Help_icon

The pattern is made up of hundreds of interlocking iterations of a geometric shape called the Koch snowflake, outlined in shades of grey with brushes of different widths and profiles and coloured to give an impression of ink applied with a nib and watercolour at its most vivid. To see the pattern design in full detail, please click on the image below. This is a large-scale-repeat pattern scaled to show the full repeat on a fat quarter. It can be rescaled on request for interior decoration or for clothing and other smaller projects.

Mekong Lotus

by nekineko
The lotus-lined Mekong river and traditional Chinese brush paintings gave the idea for this pattern which shows lotus leaves at various stages of growth and the first flower of the season against the glinting waters of the river.
