Collection: Cut & Sew Patterns
Bright, colourful and cute - a set of 5 soft snuggly reversible beanies for a baby boy. I designed them to fit a 15 inch head circumference (which is the average for around 6-8 weeks). Due to the stretch of the knit, they will easily fit up to (and possibly over) an 18 inch head - so plenty of room for growth. In fact, I can just squeeze them on my 2 year old's 20 inch head! There is around a 2 inch cuff on each beanie, and all the seams are nicely hidden inside so as not to scratch baby.
Please note - these are designed to be printed only in the stretch fabrics such as ORGANIC KNIT or MODERN JERSEY. None of the other fabrics have the stretch required.
Each of the fabrics are in this collection, if you want to see the details of the designs I have used.
The baby girl version of this hat is here.
The matching set of baby bibs is here.
A tutorial for sewing up the beanies is available on my blog here: www.shelleymade.com

Thanks Carmen! I love bright colours on little boys :)
So nice! lovely colours for the boys!
Oh I know! I always feel my little man misses out sewing wise. So easy to sew for my daughter, but not him. Really wish he was still little enough for these! :)
So nice to see something for the boys Shelley! These are really lovely. Shame my sons are too big...
