This artist creates a Cuisinart of abstract mirror designs borrowing bits from Victorian, Edwardian, paisley, and art nouveau. She also draws orphan cars, and adapts a few very old ads. Most of her work is hand drawn with twists, vines & Celtic knots.

Thanks (10 months late) Patsijean.
The question of scale is a tricky one. Since that is an adjustable feature on Spoonflower, it should not matter what scale a design is displayed in since it can be purchased in a larger or smaller scale at all times, just by asking the designer to temporarily adjust the size.
The scale is very dependent on the intended application for the fabric. I think in terms of apparel and applique (which would also cover quilting and some kinds of crafts). Decorating (curtains, upholstery) requires a larger scale than a shirt.
This website also makes things look better in a larger scale because details that can be seen in print clearly, often are crushed by the limits of the monitor screen.
Plus, since my designs are all hand drawn (mostly with fiber tip pens) they look better in a smaller sale than the actual drawing, than they do with all the lines and variations of line thickness and tone magnified to 3 times the original size. Computer drafted art does not have that factor. It looks the same in all sizes.
This one is more of a decorating type of design. I can not see making a shirt of it. That would be far too retro sixties hippie. But I can see it as curtains.
That is why I choose to display most designs in swatch, not quarter, scale, with at least one full repeat per 8 inches.
But that in no way restricts what size it can be purchased in.
It is just my default scale.

I like this one very much, actually I like most of your designs but the scale of most is too small and all the detail is lost. "Feed Your Head..." is perfect.
