These fabrics were created to be sewn into skirts and loose tops for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Humanities Symposium 2012 in the US. The project is Identity, and what it means to put on, or take off an identity.
Gallery viewers had the opportunity to don tops and wraps made from unique images while attending the exhibit and answer questions afterward, such as "Did it make you feel different in any way?", "How many different identities do you relate to on a daily basis?(ie, brother, student, athlete, dancer, honor student, black, female, leader, class clown, etc)", and "Is any one of these your true identity? Yes or no."
