Design by Rhonda W. © 2012. A celebration of the cycle of the Seasons!
Every season brings cause for celebrations of special events. As a fibre artist, it is natural for me to reach into my stash of fabric and thread to create some stitched items for these times. The trees depicted in this set of designs were made by me using free motion machine stitching methods. They were then reproduced as the focus of this design that depicts the cycle of changing seasons.. An original design by Rhonda W. © 2012.

Thank you kindly for your wonderful comment, Deborah!:-)
Su_G recommended I look at this design -- it's beautiful -- I like the color palette and the details. In addition to a cheater quilt, I can see this translating well as a wallpaper. Wonderful work, Rhonds.

Beautiful work of art. The seasonal trees adds a unique interest to this design. Love the way, each tree is being showcased in a square while having their blooms in the diamond shape that encloses the tree. The stitch effect is also beautiful. Unique and beautiful work!. well done.

This is lovely! I absolutely love the different changes of the tree from season to season. Just looking at trees always makes my heart happy. You have managed to put that happiness onto fabric!
Thank you, Alex! I love the idea of traditional knot gardens even though our garden has more of a cultivated wilderness look with lots of native trees to attract the birdlife!
Rhonda this is beautiful, they look like minature formal gardens.
Thank you, Sue Ellen! So glad that you like the design and the pun! :-)

Rhonda, I love that you have chosen this technique for the design. Trees in the work of Norico are magical as your seasons, and beautifully balanced blocks too!!.
