just lovely soft florals - nice quilting design too.
My photo is a bit darker than I would like. I used natural light by my window and it was getting late in the afternoon.
I am in love with these colors and your design. It's dreamy.
It is amazing how a color palette can give a mood, isn't it? Thank you so much Su!
It is a very soft & romantic design - Rhonda has hit the nail on the head with her description. A wonderful result of your new direction Joan! I love the soft, muted color palette too.
Rhonda, as always, you place such fabulous language with designs. Thank you! I've decided to call the small print coordinate Romance...............since it was you've brought that aura to mind.
There is a charming aura of romance attached to this gorgeous design, Joan! This fabric would be a quilter's dream feature print to use in any project that required fussy cutting.
Thank you Carole!
oh my gosh! how beautiful!
Thank you Isabella! My daughter "wows" over them when they arrive. I received a batch of several coordinates as proofs today and I'm happy with the dreamy colors. That is a good visual description you've given, for how this might play as its own coordinate depending on the area of color within a crop section of fabric. I think the scale is pretty workable too; not so large and not so small. Some of the coordinates to this one are larger and some are smaller. I usually release them a day or so apart, so as not to clog up the page with a lot of similar designs.
Joan, this gorgeous floral makes me think of decoupage. Each of the colours in the mottled background brings out a different aspect of the flowers. I imagine it would be very useful for patchwork. It would look like several different but co-ordinating fabrics, depending on which part of the design was featured.
