Collection: Wonderful World of Color
This artist creates a Cuisinart of abstract mirror designs borrowing bits from Victorian, Edwardian, paisley, and art nouveau. She also draws orphan cars, and adapts a few very old ads. Most of her work is hand drawn with twists, vines & Celtic knots.

A soft colored and delicate abstract vertical stripe that makes me think of flies. You've got their aqua and ivory wings, heads and mandibles all lined up in columns between the basketweave diamonds and off-gray boxes between each fly's head. But if I called this abstract pastel housefly columns nobody would ever want to click and look at it (except me) so I have named it for the kind of bamboo forest feeling the long columns between the flies make, and the little white bamboo leaves on those columns. These colors and textures could be on a curtain at the Mad Men set. They are very 1962.
