For the PicNic in white organized each year at Versailles for July, the 14th, I wanted to reproduce this famous dress from Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola. Here's my version of the fabric !
I've painted it so it can looks like it's embroided with some volume!
The original dress is a front zone dress, retroussée à la polonaise. (I've already made several 18th century dresses and I can say that for a "basic size" You'll need at least 3 yards for the skirt and 6/7 yards for the bodice and the train.
Lining and interlining : 2 yards.
Trims: 1 yard
Don't hesitate if you need another color!
The flowers are 1 to 3 cm :)
