This design was taken from an original German Regency dress from ca. 1800, which was originally embroidered with silver threads (which by now have tarnished to black).
I've digitized the embroidery using photos of the original dress, then embroidered it with an embroidery machine and used the photos of that embroidery to create this fabric.
