This printed legibly even at half size (300 dpi, 7½" repeat). So there's plenty of scope for rescaling to suit different projects.

Well, you're a week late getting here but hello anyway!

Hahaha, this is so much fun.
I still haven't listed all of the silly ones - just the section with the majority of them. The other sections each only have a couple of oddities among the banalities. I also wasn't sure how well it would show up on that floating close-up view thingummy - ie whether it would be necessary at all. But since no-one seemed to have noticed anything odd about the book titles ...
Nice idea! Books arranged both ways and the marquetry were points of difference that made it stand out. Thank goodness you listed the titles - would have been too frustrating trying to make them out!
I think it would be rather expensive as gift wrapping from Spoonflower. You'd need a company which printed on cheap paper. Unless you're thinking of having reusable fabric wrapping (so it would just keep going round and round a social circle once bought).
oh wow, i could see this as wonderful wall paper or gift wrapping. Soooooooooooo good.
I voted for it!
Thanks, but I think you're somewhat alone in liking it. The viewing ratings suggest it's another dud. :-D

The marquetry was the only element from my long-standing todo list. I hadn't previously had plans to invent a bunch of silly book titles. Not that those show up very well in the views anyway. Perhaps I should have listed them separately, since it's something of a guessing game to recognise the originals.
This is very attractive, Sef. The marquetry nicely balances the blocks of coloured books. I like it.
