Four 16in mixed media panels with instructions for making up either 2 cushions or 4 cushion tops. One FQ, will give one cushion top of the 'If there are books' ephemera design. To make this alone as a cushion you will need to cut out, leave half an inch for seams, and use as a template to cut your own backing fabric (cheap polycotton works fine for this). Pin design sides together, sew around the edges, leaving a gap along the bottom edge. Turn out through the gap, press with an iron and stuff with fibre filling. Finally handstitch the opening closed. You could also use these as panels for library bookbags too by hemming panels, pinning design sides together and sewing, leaving the top open and adding some handles, bias tape would work well as would strong hessian. Attach handles by pinning in place to the back of the panels and stitching on the right side, stitch a square with 2 diagonal lines crossed through it to secure. If you're using as cushions the kona cotton is lovely but for library bags I'd go with the linen-cotton canvas or even twill as cotton would be too floppy.
