Stained glass created from a selection of urban photographs taken by the Minneapolis Textile Center
The striped hexagon flower is made from a section of the curved yellow path (with rotation and reflection). The triangle is taken directly from the yarn-wrapped bicycle - and hence is the element which breaks the symmetry (other than a remaining diad). The rhombus is a double mirror reflection of a portion of the hazard warning tape (showing both gold and copper areas around the white). The square is an amalgamation of the weathered blue paintwork and the brick-work paving (with the perspective removed).
The design was deliberately created large (12" by nearly 21") for display purposes but with the ability to be scaled down (eg to 9" by 15½" or 6" by 10½") for other applications. As usual, it can easily be made available in the other orientation instead.
Note that this is intended to be printed with the v2 colour profile.
