I used the weathered concrete image (for color and texture) and the curve image (for color and shape) to create these interlocking spirals. I used the actual "curve" but distorted the shape and then changed the painted area to turquoise from the original yellow. I made the pavement sections of the curve partially transparent to try and make it appear like a ribbon.
