Each new day brings renewal. The texture of peeling paint gives character to the background shadows. Growing trees leaf out and incorporate the old with the new. Merging urban renewal with new life, new changing scenery. Watching the environment change with the light is an ever changing art piece if one stops and notices.

I love that this is kind of surreal and dreamy! well done!
Just a beautiful design! :o)
Fireflower, hahaha, yeah, I do what I like hoping that the voters will like it but if they don't I'm still good with my design. :-)
I like this one, too ... very imaginative, and quite lovely, use of the offered elements. If designers only entered contests to please judges, we'd all be up a creek without a paddle. Best to enter something one likes :-)
Thanks so much Whim...yes, the texture of the tree shadows is from the contest, the leaves use the yarn that was one of the choices. I really loved this design even tho the judges didn't. hahahaha.
Really nice and well done. I believe I recognize the peeling paint shadow image from one of the contest. What a unique use of that texture. It is perfect for this and the repeat is seamless. I like to extend to 3 yards when viewing and it is super in the extended view.
Thanks Emma! This one was a fun one for me.

Cally and Claire, thanks soooo much! I hope original and unique catches the judges eyes!
Completely and utterly gorgeous, so unique, love the texture photo shadows :)
Such an original idea; I love it!
Thanks Rachel and Roz...that repeat was a test of patience for me!
so pretty, i love how the slanting shadows add another dimension to the repeat!
beautiful! really great repeat :)
Cean, Jule and MelissaMarie, thank you all. I really wanted something pretty and not just urban. I live in an urban area and appreciate all the green I can surround myself in.
This is so beautiful! I love the shadows and the beautiful subtle textures. The yard view is pretty amazing!
Wonderful and completely usable take on the theme, Virginia. Love it!
Thank you Cynthia! :-) And thank you Victoria!
Lovely. The turquoise in the back ground gives me a feeling of the clean freshness after a rain.
This is stunning!!!
Thank you Sharon, Alex and Rhonda. :-) I looked at some photos of the Prospect Park Witches Hat and knew right away I wanted to do something with trees and urban development. And I just love mature trees in any city.
This is a brilliant design with very effective use of the photographic elements! I love that you have brought the concept of parkland into the urban setting as it is such an important aspect to include in any healthy urban renewal program!
Lovely painting! I like the space and depth in the repeat.
beautiful details (I love those leaves) and gorgeous repeat ~ love this vo! xxx
