An antique-look tape measure print that runs between the two selvedges, scaled accurately (to maintain accurate measurement, do not prewash). Background pattern is a large linen weave with added age marks and slightly darkened edges. One yard of this design (printed on Kona or quilting weight cotton, 42-inches wide) will enable you to make two seven-foot height charts (with another 3.5 foot section leftover). Two yards will enable you to make five seven-foot height charts. This works out really nicely for parents who want one chart for each of their kids, or for anyone who wants to make one to keep, and some to give away! Complete tutorial for recommended assembly can be found on my blog : http://nightgardendesign.blogspot.com/2012/03/antique-style-tape-measure-growth-chart.html Basic instructions: leaving selvedges intact and a 1/2-inch seam allowance along each side, cut out the two panels that will make up your tape measure and join at the 3.5-foot mark. Can also be used for pillows, upholstery, curtain panels, etc. To buy just enough to make one growth chart, please visit my Etsy shop. Panels are available for $12. http://www.etsy.com/shop/NightGardenSupplies This print is the first in an upcoming collection of vintage sewing tools! Please drop in again!
