Boys and girls, rainbow planet exists. Accessible by four-legged Spacepods and explored by your very own uni-wheeled robot. Collect patchwork samples of rainbow fabrics inspired by modern stained glass quilts from the safety of your Spacepod. I built my Spacepod with titanium tiles cut with a traditional double wedding ring quilt template - proving what we all already know is true - sewers are engineers in their own rights.... This started as just a fun entry into this week's contest but has now become the starting point for my 3 year old son's entire bedroom. I can't wait for the fabric to arrive! The rainbow planet takes a nod from today's more modern stained glass style quilts while the interior of the "Spacepod" is engineered with tiles based on the pieces that form yesterday's double wedding ring quilts. I have offset the view on purpose.
