I have a friend who used to raise deadly snakes. In fact many years ago the guy proposed to me. Guess what my answer was. lol A really sweet man but no snake kids for me. Did make for some great photos to work with. Here I removed the shadows and put the image on top of another background. I love snakes on fabric.

I'm so crazy about whimzwhirled. The uniquie fashions I can make are endless.
Who was the designer that put out the Fall 2013 line?

Kristen, that is sort of the point behind Spoonflower in my opinion. To create designs that are unique to your individual taste and style and open minds to new possibilities.

Now...this print is rather all the more unusual than any other fabric print I've ever seen! I mean, you'd never...ever see something like this at any of the local fabric stores!
Wow! That's Fabulous!

It turned out great and I have no idea what spoonflower did with the image. I wish they would upgrade their systems though as it's a pain to even load these images with this set up and then they disappear. Sort of makes you mad in the morning before you've had your coffee. Spoonflower has the slowest upload system in the world I believe. Definately the slowest system I have ever seen. I'll try again

Your crazy, imaginative, magnificent designs have been discovered. It was only a matter of time. So exciting! Congratulations Janiece.
Congratulations, Janiece. This is exciting news. Can't wait to see what he will do with your design. Wow. So happy.
I've been talking this weekend with a fashion designer who is using this fabric in his Fall 2013 collection and he sent me the photo of his piece. I can't publish it until after the collection comes out but it is also going to be featured in a top fashion Magizine which is also a temporary secret. He said the feedback from his buyers has been over the top and wants me to design an exclusive collection of five designs for his spring collection. He's a young designer and just breaking into the big leagues. It is so exciting to see all the hours I spend in Spoonflower starting to bear fruit. He managed the crazy pattern to perfection and worked it just as I had envisioned it to be used. I can't wait to show it off once he has shown it off. I am also looking forward to working on the Spring collection with him. I remember the first time I heard about Spoonflower, I couldn't google it and sign up fast enough. What an awesome venue here to play and create in. I have really felt encouraged and supported by so many of you awesome designers. What fun we have here.
wow... this is incredible... would love to make a dress out of this
Great design but I hate snakes
Thanks for stopping in edsel2084. My friend has since gotten rid of the deadly snakes after a friend of his who also was a deadly snake collector was killed by one of his pets. Snakes as nature are great design elements with their slithering curves and scales and unique markings. I have handled a few non poisonous snakes in the past but did not enjoy it. I love to look at them from afar though as they are beautiful.
Ooooh. Herpetology heaven.
