I made my husband get out of his chair to come look at this design with accompanying photos. I had favorited it a few years ago but I want to say how much I enjoyed looking at the photos and your end design,Sharon. Your work provided a pleasant morning discussion - especially how "Mousehole" could be pronounced "mauzall!". :-) Wonderful work.

I love this one so much, so sad it wasn't in the top ten. I love the way you used the patterns in the sand as a texture throughout the design. This is one of my favorite Spoonflower fabrics.

I think one of the reasons I love Cornwall so much is because of the strong artist community... It's awesome that you've been ~ small world isn't it? Thanks so much Melanie! xxx
Beautiful illustration and design, love Mousehole, we were there last June, it is a really special place and can so understand why you would love to live there. We bought an oil painting from a local artist of the harbour and you have captured it so well. Great job!

Fantastic Sharon, was going to go boaty for the history of shipbuilding in my hometown, then I remembered that I'm nowhere near this level of skill with illustration ;-) fingers crossed for a top ten place for you this week chuck x

A beautiful boat picture and very modern sketch of the town. Cat is a nice touch to pull in some history. Nice continuity in the texture applied to the boats and town.
wonderful work !!! I love it !!
thanks so much Siya ~ thank you Alex! xxx
Great work Sharon - the yardage view is just fab!
How fun! I love all the boats! Fascinating history!
close up of the town (well, you know, my scribbled with love interpretation of it lol)
Here's another arty shot I took in Mousehole that I love! The harbour walls are quite high yet still I've seen storm waves crashing over the top of them.
I love this photograph.... I took it a couple of years ago on a misty easter morning....and used this as the inspiration for my illustration style for my toile.
