designs to look great on velvet. ...
(-CV denotes that this is intended to print on velvet.) You may want to test this version and the original, side by side, if you want to print on another fabric. More about the velvet: I was very concerned when Spoonflower discontinued their original Celosia Velvet and replaced it. But, the printing differences seem to be really very subtle. I've retested 30 designs on the new velvet, and they may be a tiny bit softer and less contrasty on the new velvet (introduced, summer of 2019), but it may also just be the difference between 2 different print runs. In working with the velvet originally, I had found that I often had to scale back my colors, as some colors could go almost fluorescent. So, if the design looks washed-out on the screen, it is likely to print more boldly. I recommend investing in a swatch.
