About the Design

Fleece octopus dog toy. My rescue dog has part terrier and he is always shaking his dog bed. I hope

he will like this octopus!

For the no-sew fleece octopus dog toy, cut off the long blue rectangular stripe on the right. Then cut out each of the 4 chevron corners. (You can use these for smaller toys or bean bags) You will have a square 18 x 18. Cut each of the 2 solid colors on each side in thirds vertically, so you have 6 strips per side. You are going to braid 3 like colors together (or not), and tie off at the end. (string/yarn) You will end up with 8 braided (or 24 straight) legs. For the head, you can use a ball of crunchy paper or Fiberfill. Remember your dog is going to play with this, so fill the head with something dog friendly. (Wonder if a tennis ball would fit? That would be funny) Then, tie off the head at the bottom (blue circle) with a tight string/yarn. BTW- dogs only see blue, yellow and green. Other colors are grey to them.
