This design is the mutant offspring of a basic gingham check with an arabic / islamic / moroccan style geometric design. An ornamented version of vertex stars on the semi-regular polygon grid of dodecagon, hexagon and square. The dodecagon star is the 2nd order one, formed from overlapping squares, with split rhombus weaves that continue into a 4th order star. Currently displaying a translucent ribbon-crossing version in sunshine yellow and orange. Other colours, stylings, sizes and orientations are available on request and you can even ask for a custom mixture of designs.
