About the Design

Hand-painted design by Nancy Lee Moran © 2015, my entry for the "Flowers for Mom Border Print"

contest in April 2015.

It has colors of tangerine, moss, lemon, fuchsia, violet, forest green. 12.5 inches border-repeat, 4.25 inches stripe-repeat, 300dpi . . . border is about 9 inches high. Nancy Lee Moran hand-painted the stripes on a 12x12 inches board, to coordinate with her tulip art. “Bunnies in the Blooms” is a 2015 oil painting by Nancy Lee Moran, size 12x16 inches, #03 from her series of baby rabbits in springtime. One rabbit is a Holland Lop; the other, a Dutch rabbit. Nancy Lee used her own photos of the rabbits and the tulips as references for her paintings. The story of this design and oil painting is on the blog of the artist, Nancy Lee Moran. Her reference photos can also be seen on her blog page.
