You can help them by giving them some sugar water. Put a bee 'filling station' (saucer or tupperware lid) in your garden to help tired bees to get home or to pollinate for a few extra hours! We picked up a very tired little guy with a leaf and put him in a lid with a teaspoon of sugar water, he instantly started sucking it up and within a few minutes, managed to fly away again!
