From a geometric jungle of textile cut-outs, an elegant soiree of feline friends saunter curiously. It’s a stunning patchwork display of rose pink, sky blue, spicy mustard and inky black swatches. Inspired by the geometric cut-outs of the Cubist artist yet undoubtedly reworked with a loving touch of craft, the design overflows like a whimsical basket of textile samples. The design’s surface is alive with texture, a dynamic bundle of crisscrossing stitches, checks and dots. The cats themselves are Pablo-inspired, their jagged shapes decked in pink and black tartan sweaters or funky black and white ensembles.
