If art nouveau met art deco somewhere in a farmhouse from the first quarter of the twentieth century, and gave birth to a baby, this would be it. It has a bold and flat colored 1920's structure, but lots of twisting and curling pre-world war one vine lines. From a distance the hexagons and X's create a look of patchwork. Close up you can see yellow dots against a red background. I usually put lots of texture in my backgrounds, but I thought this looked clean and neat without all that gingerbreading.
