Please note this design was originally produced for a scarf design- it will not repeat seamlessly An elegant, intoxicating collage, this design is like a glass cabinet brimming with curiosities. It's an exotic world of bottle coloured beetles and iridescent butterflies set against elaborate backdrops of greys, creams and mustardy yellows. It’s richly textured like plush velvet, as though an antique, Oriental rug. Tinges of lavender and dusty orange hues like faded parchment add a charming, vintage touch. Bejewelled beetles infuse the design with pops of rich turquoise and exotic purples. The sprawling wings of butterflies catch your eye, each with a different pattern and design.
