This design is a tessellation of bat-winged pumpkins. They've got bored of waiting for victims to stumble into the pumpkin patch on their own. So they've sprouted wings and are setting off in search of fresh prey. The underlying symmetry is p2mg - which is partially destroyed by the colouring scheme (leaving just the normal mirrors). Currently displaying a version in 3 sets of pumpkin / squash colours (orange, yellow and green).
